ABI Doppler Ultrasound Studies

An Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) study is a simple non-invasive vascular study commonly used to diagnose Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) commonly found in diabetics and elderly patients. The ABI uses an ultrasound Doppler to determine the ratio of the highest systolic pressure at the arm to the systolic pressure at the ankle.

              

Custom Foot Orthotics

Dr. Edelstein provides custom made orthotics in his office using the latest computer mapping technology. The digitalized mapping system (DMS) casts the foot in the neutral position, thereby restoring the foot to its normal position and preventing pain and deformities. Custom Foot Orthotics are made for a variety of Foot and Ankle conditions such as Flat Foot Deformity, Arthritis, and others.

Advanced Wound Care

Utilizing the latest wound care products such as Epifix wound grafts  to promote healing of diabetic foot ulcers and using other advanced wound healing products such as silver impregnated dressings (antibacterial properties) to prevent infections.
